    Origin: Crafted by Naberauli in the mountainous Racha-Lechkhumi region of western Georgia, this Chacha is the liquid soul of their winemaking — distilled from the grape pomace left over after the winemaking process, allowing the producer to maximise the use of their harvest and create a versatile, flavoursome spirit. Rooted in a tradition stretching back millennia, Georgian Chacha transcends its role as merely an alcoholic beverage — it is an integral part of the supra, the traditional Georgian feast, where the tamada raises a glass to honour family, friendship, and life itself. 

    What is Chacha? Chacha is a Georgian pomace brandy — clear and strong — sometimes called "wine vodka" or "Georgian grappa." It is made from the grape residue left after making wine. Once fermentation is complete, the grape pomace is transferred to copper pot stills for distillation, where it is carefully heated and the alcohol vapours are collected and condensed into a crystal-clear spirit.

    Character: Aromas of juicy crushed grape skins, orchard fruit, light floral nuance, and a hint of warm spice lead into a bold grape-core flavour with savory fruit and subtle herbal notes. Georgian Chacha tends to be lighter and more aromatic, often featuring floral notes and a subtle grape character — a reflection of Naberauli's native Tsolikouri and Rachuli Mtsvane varieties at its heart.

    Craftsmanship: Produced using traditional Georgian distillation methods passed down through generations, this unaged Chacha preserves the pure, raw expression of the grape in its most concentrated form. Unlike vodka, Chacha never has its flavours stripped through charcoal filtration or multiple distillations — what you taste is the honest, unfiltered character of Racha's mountain terroir.

    Serving Suggestions: Best served well chilled in small glasses, neat, as a digestif after a Georgian feast. Traditionally enjoyed with grilled meats, Georgian shashlik, spicy cheeses, or cured meats. Also excellent alongside dark chocolate or poured over ice on a warm evening.
