  • Description

Origin: From Bakashvili's family vineyards in the Kakheti region — one of Georgia's rarest and most extraordinary indigenous white varieties, given the full Qvevri treatment. A wine for those who want to experience something truly singular and deeply Georgian.

Grape Variety: 100% Khikhvi — one of Kakheti's rarest commercial white varieties, grown primarily in eastern Georgia. In the glass it is immediately distinctive: aromatic, exotic, and unlike anything else. Extended skin contact in traditional buried Qvevri transforms its naturally floral character into something deeper, richer, and far more complex.

Taste Profile: Deep amber in the glass. An extraordinary nose — jasmine tea, orange blossom, lily, and honeyed dried fruit, somewhere between the spice bazaar and the flower market. Full and textured on the palate, with well-resolved tannins, a rich and enveloping body, and a long, plush finish with notes of warm spice and dried plum. Rare, memorable, and entirely its own.

Craftsmanship: Traditional Qvevri fermentation with extended skin contact — Georgia's 8,000-year-old winemaking method recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Wild yeasts; unfiltered; no additives. A wine made with patience and deep respect for tradition.

Serving Suggestions: Serve at 12–14°C with rich Georgian dishes, aged hard cheeses, roasted poultry, walnut-based preparations, and charcuterie. A conversation wine — open it with people who are curious.
