  • Description

Origin: Georgian Sun is the wine brand of Vazisubani Estate, born in the sun-drenched and most prosperous wine-growing region of Georgia — Kakheti. The grapes are sourced from the Vazisubani PDO, on the gentle slopes above the right bank of the Alazani River, with vines planted at 1,500–1,800 feet elevation on black loamy topsoil over white clay and limestone strata.

Grape Variety: A blend of four of Georgia's most cherished indigenous white varieties: Kisi 40%, Mtsvane 25%, Khikhvi 20%, and Rkatsiteli 15%. Kisi adds subtle complexity, Mtsvane contributes bright freshness, Khikhvi brings floral notes, and Rkatsiteli offers a soft, round finish — four grapes, one sun-filled expression of Kakheti.

Taste Profile: Bright golden-straw in colour with an obvious green tinge. Aromas of citrus, quince, tropical fruit, and white mulberry lead into a fresh-bodied, spicy palate with hints of white plum and wild peach. The aftertaste is pure, crisp, and lively.

Craftsmanship: Grapes are harvested manually, transported in small batches, and gently handled throughout. Fermented using natural native and inoculated yeast over 21–26 days, with minimal intervention in the vineyard under the lutte raisonnée philosophy. Winemaker Lado Uzunashvili — an 11th-generation winemaker — oversees every aspect of production at this historic estate.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with a diversity of seafood dishes, pizza, and Asian sweet-sour recipes. It is also a refreshing wine that can be enjoyed on its own before or after a meal. Serve well chilled at 8–10°C.
