  • Description

    Origin:
Cultivated in the fertile soils of Kakheti, Georgia’s premier wine region. Made by the Karalashvili Wine Cellar, known for its heritage and craftsmanship dating back to 1396.

    Grape Variety:
Crafted from 100% Kisi grapes — a native Georgian variety prized for its complexity and aromatic profile.

    Taste Profile:
Deep amber in color, this wine offers intense aromas of dried apricot, honey, and wild herbs, with earthy undertones. The palate is rich and textured, with notes of spiced pear, nuts, and a soft tannic grip that gives structure and depth.

    Wine Character:
Made using the traditional Georgian qvevri method, where the wine ferments and ages in clay vessels buried underground. This ancient technique imparts a unique earthy minerality, subtle oxidation, and extended flavor complexity.

    Craftsmanship:
The Kisi grapes are hand-harvested, crushed with their skins, seeds, and stems, and fermented in qvevri for several months. The extended skin contact and natural winemaking approach create a bold, layered, and naturally expressive wine.

    Serving Suggestions:
Pairs beautifully with roasted meats, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes, and spicy Georgian specialties like kharcho or lobio. A versatile food wine with backbone.

    Enjoy Fresh:
To fully appreciate its bold structure and subtle floral notes, serve slightly chilled or at cellar temperature (12–14°C).
