Old Kakheti - Saperavi Rose
75cl | 12% | Old Kakheti
Description
Origin: Produced from Saperavi and Muscat grapes grown in the Kakheti region of Georgia — sourced from one of the world's most ancient winemaking territories and crafted by Old Kakheti (KTW Group).
Grape Varieties: A blend of Saperavi and Muscat, with Saperavi's Kakhetian depth providing the structure and colour, while Muscat contributes its distinctive floral lift and aromatic elegance.
Taste Profile: Beautiful light rose in colour, achieved through a carefully controlled brief skin contact of just 8–10 hours during fermentation. The nose is tender and inviting — strawberry, raspberry, and a delicate tone of May rose. On the palate it is fresh and semi-dry, with a soft fruit character, a gentle floral bouquet, and a clean, pleasant finish. An ideal aperitif.

Craftsmanship: The wine's distinctive pale rose hue is obtained naturally by fermenting the grape juice with the grape skins (without pips) for only 8–10 hours — a precise technique that extracts just enough colour and character without heaviness. The result is a wine that feels light, summery, and effortlessly drinkable.
Serving Suggestions: Ideal as an aperitif. Pairs well with fish, white meat, light salads, and soft cheeses. Best served chilled at 14–16°C to highlight its fresh fruit and floral aromatics.
