  • Description

Origin: Sourced from the Tvishi PDO micro-zone in the Lechkhumi region of western Georgia — the sole white semi-sweet wine PDO in the country. The vineyards sit on steep river terraces along the Rioni River, at elevations between 400 and 600 metres above sea level, where altitude and slow ripening shape a distinctly fresh and refined style.

Grape Variety: 100% Tsolikouri, the only grape variety permitted under the Tvishi PDO designation. Tsolikouri vines from this specific microzone produce wines with a characteristic delicacy, natural sweetness, and bright acidity that set Tvishi apart from all other Georgian whites.

Taste Profile: This wine showcases a delightful blend of tropical and stone-fruit flavors, balanced with a subtle minerality, crisp acidity, and a touch of luscious sweetness on the palate. Aromas of pear, apricot, citrus peel, and subtle herbal tones lead to a smooth and gently sweet palate, finishing fresh and precise with light mineral and floral notes.

Craftsmanship: Fermented in stainless steel tanks with cultured yeast at a controlled 13–15°C without skins or stems for two weeks, then aged on the lees for six months before being filtered and fined. The sweetness is achieved entirely through residual natural sugar from the fruit, with no additives — a hallmark of naturally semi-sweet Georgian winemaking.

Serving Suggestions: Pairs beautifully with different types of cheese, tropical fruits, citrus, chocolate, and ice cream. Best served well chilled at 8–10°C to enhance its aromatic lift and refreshing acidity.
