  • Description

Origin: Brothers Cellar is a fourth-generation family winery in Bolnisi, whose roots in viticulture and winemaking stretch back to 1900. Bolnisi carries a uniquely dual heritage — a Georgian wine region shaped by centuries of local tradition, and a community once home to German settlers from Swabia who planted their own vines here in the 19th century. "Anfent" is a limited edition experimental wine that celebrates exactly this convergence: a Georgian wine made with a German accent.

Grape Variety: A distinctive blend of 60% Rkatsiteli — one of Georgia's oldest and most celebrated white varieties, known for its bright acidity and orchard fruit character — and 40% Riesling, brought to the Bolnisi terroir through the region's German winemaking legacy. The result is a wine that bridges two great wine cultures in a single glass.

Taste Profile: Aromas of custard apple, brown pear, and vanilla lead into a palate of just-ripe orchard fruits with purity and freshness at the fore. Subtle old spice box notes add intrigue and depth, while Rkatsiteli's natural acidity keeps the wine lifted and precise. A wine of genuine character and quiet complexity.

Craftsmanship: Made using the "Bolnisian" method — a traditional fermentation technique unique to the region. The wine underwent four weeks of fermentation with chacha (grape pomace) in a Chani, an ancient oak vessel used in Georgian winemaking, imparting gentle texture and a distinctive spiced warmth. This limited edition bottling represents Brothers Cellar at their most experimental: honouring the past while forging something entirely new.

Serving Suggestions: Wonderful alongside soft cheeses, roasted poultry, spiced dishes, walnut-based Georgian foods, and fruit-forward desserts. Serve lightly chilled at 10–12°C to best appreciate its aromatic complexity.
