8000 QVEVRI – 3 QVEVRI
75cl | 12%
Alazani Marani
Description
Grape Variety: Khikhvi 30%, Kakhuri Mtsvane 20%, Rkatsiteli 50%.
Aroma: Hints of peach, ripe fruit and yellow dried fruit tones.
Taste: Balanced and rich.
Three grape varieties from Kakheti fuse to form an exquisite wine. Rkatsiteli from Tsarapi provides a sturdy body, Khikhvi from Akhmeta an intense taste, and Mtsvane from Manavi a luxuriant aroma. The trio is pressed and their juices mixed with skins, stalks, and pips in the Qvevri, an underground amphora, to ferment. After aging in Qvevri for months and undergoing malolactic fermentation, a blend emerges, ready for bottling. This ancient Georgian technique, revered as a UNESCO heritage, crafts a sumptuous wine, rich in tradition and flavor.

Serving Suggestion:
Best served at 10–12°C, this harmonious blend pairs well with roast poultry, grilled vegetables, and rich Georgian dishes like chashushuli or lobio.
