Chelti - Kvareli 2021

Origin: From Chelti's estate vineyards in the Kvareli appellation — one of Kakheti's most prestigious PDO zones, nestled at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains on iron-rich clay and volcanic stone soils. Estate grown and estate bottled by one of Georgia's most awarded family wineries.

Grape Variety: 100% Saperavi, hand-harvested from Chelti's own Kvareli vineyards — where the mountain influence brings an added freshness and depth to the grape's naturally bold character.

Taste Profile: Deep ruby with garnet edges. Blackberry, dark cherry, subtle oak spice, and a whisper of tobacco on the nose. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with firm tannins, lively acidity, and a long, complex finish that rewards patience.

Craftsmanship: Oak aged in accordance with the Kvareli PDO requirements, adding layers of complexity and a refined, rounded structure. Natural yeasts only; no animal products; hand-harvested. One of Chelti's most decorated expressions with multiple international gold medals.

Serving Suggestions: Serve at 16–18°C. Decanting recommended. Pairs beautifully with grilled and roasted red meats, game, lamb, and aged hard cheeses.
